Glock 43mos - The Glock 43X MOS has been completely redesigned from the original 43X and features some major improvements. It's incredibly small, 6.5" overall with the barrel measuring 3.4". Including the magazine, it is only 5” long. It's also very light, weighing in at 23 ounces fully loaded, making it one of the best weapons for concealed carry. It's easy to carry around your waist or toss in your gear bag on the way to the field.
Although it is very light and small, it still has an excellent grip. A huge improvement over the original 43 pistol grip, it is compact in size but fits well in your hand, provides excellent control and helps greatly reduce felt recoil. The slide on the 43X MOS also has a traditional black nDLC finish, which gives it a much more understated look than the original stainless steel.

Also includes the traditional Glock black polymer frame. Although it is nothing special, it still looks nice and is very well formed. If you're looking for a weapon that's well balanced and easy to control, this is the one to consider.
Glock G43x Mos And G48 Mos Optics Ready Pistols
The standard plastic iron sights are nothing special, but luckily they are easy to replace. The 43X MOS includes a small Picatinny rail on the top, allowing you to attach any scope you like. You can try red dots, lasers, lights and more. On such small weapons, however, it can be difficult to manipulate the slide with the optics attached. That's why Glock has included front serrations to let you do this without smudging. They've really covered all the bases when it comes to easy handling.
The single stack magazines included with this weapon can hold 10 rounds of ammo. It has a larger capacity than the Glock 36, but some people might still want more. While the weapon will not fit in any magazine made for the original G43, there are extended 15-round options available. It flows through just about anything you put in it, and the recoil is especially light for such a small firearm. While noticeable, it's not uncontrollable and nowhere near as bad as some similarly sized revolvers.
If you want to upgrade your concealed carry pistol, choose the Glock 43X MOS over the SIG P239. It's lightweight, as concealable as the popular Glock 19, incredibly reliable and very durable. And, at around $400 to $550 retail, it won't break the bank. If you need optics for your Glock 43X, I'm here to help. The Modular Optical System, or MOS, version of the G43X has a factory-cut slide that only accepts micro-footprint-sized optics using the RMSc-type base. Not every Red Dot Sight (RDS) will fit.
Initially popularized by the Smith & Wesson Shield series, the RMSc grip is now used for a variety of firearms including the SIG SAUER P365 series and Springfield Armory Hellcat optics. Sights are more compact than normal pistol red dot sights and are necessary for slimmer rifles like the G43X.

I have thoroughly researched the use of reflective sights in weapons and have tested more than a few options on the market. To help you make a decision on which red dot might work best for your needs, here's my list of Glock 43X lenses.
These optics also fit the Glock 48 MOS pistol. As I try to keep the list up to date, I recognize that I might miss out on a new product launch. So feel free to leave info on anything not listed in the comments section below.
Before going into the details of each optic, here's a comparison chart of features and prices for currently available options.

Riton Optics offers a solidly built mini red dot optic for your Glock slimline pistol. Called the X3 TACTIX MPRD, this scope is made with a 6061-T6 aluminum body and a multi-coated lens. From a durability standpoint, only the Swampfox Sentinel (scroll down) tops it.
The X3 TACTIX MPRD is a fully manual optic with 10 levels of red dot brightness. Levels one and two support night vision, while the remaining brightness levels support the Mk1 eyeball in a variety of lighting conditions. Auto power off function starts in 12 hours.
Riton claims a light transmission rate of 99.5% with its high-density glass and multiple coatings. The lens coating is said to reduce reflection, improve low-light clarity and resist scratches.
The company has a simple guarantee: if it fails, send it back and Riton Optics will send you a new one. You don't need to have the product registered, you don't need any documents and you don't even have to be the original purchaser. The company's goal is to process all returns within 48 hours. It would be hard to beat that kind of service.

The suggested retail price at the optics is $299.99. Sight is relatively new, so you have to buy it directly from Riton. Once it hits the market, I'm sure we'll see discounts on this view through regular sellers.
Shield Sights is the oldest manufacturer of micro red dots for pistols such as the Glock 43X. Currently, the company offers two basic models: the RMSc and the SMSc.
Built in England, the RMSc uses an aluminum body with a polymer lens to display a red aiming point. Shield Sights does not list the type of aluminum it uses for the body.
Shield Sights uses an anti-reflective coating on the lens to reduce glare when aiming your G43X. Polymer lenses are used in many reflective sights and tend to keep manufacturing costs low. However, some people report that the lenses are more prone to scratches.

You can buy this vision with a point of 4 MOA or 8 MOA. For me, I prefer the 4 MOA, but the 8 MOA really stands out. For a defensive close shot, the larger point isn't a bad choice, so go with whatever you think will work best for you.
Shield does not identify how many levels of brightness the scope can employ. Instead, the dot automatically adjusts based on lighting conditions.
Shield offers a 7-year warranty on the RMSc electronics and a lifetime warranty on all other components.
As Shield is a British company, purchasing directly from the company requires a currency conversion from US Dollars to British Pounds. In addition, the purchase will incur VAT or value-added tax. At the time of writing this, the Sight's suggested retail price is £300 before VAT. After currency conversion and VAT are added, the price is approximately $472.98 plus international shipping.

Another Shield product, this unit has a similar look but also some new features. The most obvious change is that the SMSc uses a polymer body instead of aluminum.
Shield also reworked the lens. Now you can get the polymer lens with a special hard quartz coating for durability and scratch resistance. You can also completely replace the polymer lens with a glass lens.
Like the RMSc, the SMSc is a constant display with automatic brightness adjustment. When mounted to your Glock pistol, a sensor measures ambient light and changes the relative brightness of the red dot.
The SMSc can be purchased with either a 4 MOA or an 8 MOA aim point. It has the same 7-year unlimited warranty as the RMSc.

With the quartz-coated polymer lens, the MSRP with VAT for the SMSc is $346.85. A glass lens upgrade will cost an additional $126.13 for a total of $472.98. Coincidentally, this is the same price as the RMSc.
Alternatively, you can try purchasing one from a US-based retailer. Currently, however, the only retailer that seems to be selling them is the Springfield Armory. The company's asking price is $299, but they are sold out with no set date again.
If you didn't already know, SIG SAUER is now an optics manufacturer. The company makes everything from rangefinders to high-powered oscilloscopes. One of their most recent additions is the Romeo Zero RDS, which fits the Glock 43X and other slimline pistols.
The Romeo Zero is made with a polymer body and lens. It lends itself to being light - about 0.4 ounces according to the company's specifications.

For durability, I prefer a 6061 or 7075 aluminum body. However, polymer has proven to be a durable material for gun parts. Likewise, I prefer a glass lens. Polymer, however, is a proven material for optics, so you should be fine with this scope as long as you don't abuse it.
GIS uses a motion activation system to rotate the red dot. The system seems to work well and I have no problems trusting it.
The brightness of the dots is manually controlled. With Romeo Zero you get 8 manually adjustable brightness levels. There are two models available: one with a 3 MOA dot and the second with a larger 6 MOA dot.
One of the main selling points of this crosshair is the price: $219. Online shopping brings the total cost under $200 with free shipping. this is the best
