The bad news is that they can take the time to buy a tiny 9mm single stack to compete with literally every other manufacturer on the market. The good news is they take their time and when it comes to crafting a new weapon they always seem to work.

The glock43 premiered to great critical acclaim and has become one of Glock's most popular pistols. 43 was the first 9mm, single stack, subcompact pistol released by Glock. The Glock 43 was an instant winner in the concealed carry market and has now sold over a million different models.

The Glock 43X is the latest in the Glock family and is quite unique. Among the X series, you'll need to go back to the 19X, the weapon included in the Army's new pistol program. The 19X lost out but became a popular pistol selling over 100,000 a year. Thanks to the great reviews of the Glock g43, the Glock 43 has now sold over a million pistols.

Put the two together and we get the new Glock 43X. The G19X is a Glock 19 compact slide in a Glock 17 full sized frame. The Glock 43X uses the same G43 slide and barrel, but an extended frame that offers a full grip.

Both pistols are compact, both are 9mm and both are Glocks, so which pistol is better? More importantly, which one is better for you?

Glock 43 dimensions make this a cute mini Glock. Styled almost like any other Glock, only scaled down. It is shorter and thinner than other 9mm Glocks. Lacks finger grooves and only has serrations on the back. Glock rifles are best described as Spartan. They are simple, but effective in appearance. The frame is polymer, of course, and the slide is all black and has a black nitride Glock 43 slide finish.

The black nitride finish has proven to be very strong and very durable. Glock pistols are used by police and armed forces all over the world and the finish is uncompromising. It is resistant to wear and is resistant to corrosion and rust in general.

The finish is robust and although simple, it works. It's a great finish for a gun that will probably spend most of its life strapped to your body and holstered.

The Glock 43X went in a completely different direction and you see something that stands out well from the dimensions of the Gloxk 43. The G43X uses an nPVD coating that has also proven to be tough, durable and corrosion resistant.

The main difference is that the PVD finish is silver and gives the gun a unique look. This distinguishes it from the standard all-black Glock. In addition, the G43X has forward sliding serrations that are missing from the standard Glock 43 size.

If I had to choose a gun based solely on fit and finish, it would be the 43X Glock. I'm a sucker for the stainless steel look, and this new gun looks great. The finish is also very strong and gives it a unique look in the world of Glocks.

The Glock 48 is another Glock that has the same look and feel as the Glock 43X; it's just a tad bigger. We also have a full Glock 48 vs Glock 43X comparison on our blog.

What Is The Best Optic For My Glock 43x Mos

While these guns look almost identical and even share a model number, they are completely different. The G43X is larger compared to the G43, and this is due to the longer grip length. The G43X is 5.04 inches long and the G43 is a shorter 4.25 inches.

This gives you more grip on both the G43X and the capacity of the G43. The Glovk 43x has ten cartridges plus 1 in the pipe. The G43 has six rounds with one in the pipe.

A shorter grip makes the weapon easier to conceal, and it gives you an advantage when it comes to having a smaller body type or wearing lighter clothing. In terms of weight, the G43X is surprisingly barely heavy, I mean a fraction of an ounce. The G43X weighs 18 ounces and the Glock G43 weighs 17.99 ounces empty. When loaded, we see a bigger difference between 10 and six rounds.

The G43X weighs 23.07 grams loaded and the 43 weighs 20.64 grams. One interesting difference is the width of the G43X compared to the Glock 43 width. It is 0.04 inch thicker than the G43. It's an odd addition, but it's there.

Glock 43x Review: Compact King?

The G43 and G43X are both small guns with a G43 barrel length of 3.41 inches, and the Glock x43 is longer at 6.5 inches overall. The overall length of the Glock 43 is 6.26 inches.

The G43's smaller design and lighter weight certainly make it more appealing to those who struggle to carry a larger weapon. The micro nine can be a pocket pistol. The G43X is more suitable for those who like easy shooting with rifles. We cover all about it in this Glock G43 review.

Taking one out of the box, most will say the G43X is better on the ergonomics front. The longer grip fills the hand and prevents the little finger from hanging off the end of the grip.

It is very similar to the Sig P365XL in this regard. Even though it's a very thin grip, it's still enough to give you a full grip. You can find our comparison between Sig P365XL and Glock 43X on our blog.

Comparing The Glock 43x To The Glock 43: In Depth Analysis

This makes the gun more comfortable and ergonomic overall. Easier to hold, aim and aim. Larger g43 grips give you more grip than a standard grip and make the gun easier to pull.

That said, when you holster the gun, the larger handle becomes a bigger gun to conceal. The dimensions of the Glock 43 make it easier to conceal and with the right little finger extension magazine it is comfortable to hold.

Both pistols have reversible magazine release buttons for right or left handed shooters, as well as rear serrations, a trigger safety and a nice little slide lock.

I'm not a huge fan of the Glock slide lock and find it very small and easy to depress with the right grip. The G43X has serrations on the front that the G43 does not. The G43X also has a beaver tail built into the frame, which I like.

Glock 43x Black: Best Self Defense Gun For Concealed Carry?

The standard Gock 43 has a nasty habit of eating my hand with a slide bite. Adding a beaver tail to the G43X adds a layer of protection between your hand and the slide. I have never caught a slide bite while shooting the Goock 43X. The beaver tail also adds another level of control to the rifle, especially when it comes to turning the muzzle.

A final difference is the trigger distance. The new Glock G43 has a shorter trigger distance of 2.56 inches compared to the G43X's longer 2.64 inches.

Another factor to consider is manual force. An interesting fact is that people with a weak hand can stretch the G43X more easily because they have a firmer grip. Also, the slide seems to stretch more easily than the original Glock 43 gen 4.

The G43 is Glock's first foray into the single stack nine category, and as a small rifle it's not heavy on features. It still has the Glock safe action system with three different safeties, as well as the Glock polymer magazine. The G43X and G43 share most of the same features.

These include the aforementioned reversible magazine release, Glock target sights, Gen 5 smooth grooveless grip and overall low profile.

The Glock 43X happens to have a Gen 5 marksman barrel. This is a competition grade barrel that has proven to be very accurate and reliable.

The G43X will also have a high visibility tracker that is quick and easy to see when checking to see how loaded a magazine is. Witness holes make it easy to spot the bright orange follower.

In addition, the Glock 43X has forward slide serrations that we don't normally see on Glock pistols (although many people think Glock will start incorporating them into more pistols).

Neither gun has a rail, but while talking to Crimson Trace I learned that the Laserguard designed for the G43 fits the G43X. Unfortunately, aftermarket magazines that fit the G43 will not fit the G43X, and the G43 will not accept the longer G43X magazines. The Glok
